Computer Questions
Hi This section is where Rotary members can ask computer related questions, which will be promptly answered (usually in 24-48 hours) Note the site is moderated so inappropriate messages will be removed . If you are from another Rotary Club, please state which. Ask away - remember there is no such thing as a stupid question, and the answers (and questions) may well help someone else. If we get lots of questions then we can try and organise them properly.
C’mon people this is a free service, you can stay anonymous if you want, just put a note in the question that you would like to stay anonymous and it will be done. But questions asked may be helpful to other members.
My desk top computer has dropped out of my bigpond connection-was previously working OK. I can still connect to the internet via MSN, but need some step by step instructions to re-establish the bigpond. I dont think I consciously did anything to dump the connection

You must have an internet connection as such, do you mean that your home page is no longer BigPond?? If so then proceed as follows:- in internet explorer, in the address bar, type in http://www.bigpond.com, when the page comes up, then click on “tools - internet options” at the top of the page (under home page) click on use current. Click on OK you home page will be reset to bigpond
